Constitution
In brief, the aims and objects of the Pontardawe Chamber shall be:-
- To act on behalf of its members at a collective and at an individual level.
- To represent the business and commercial viewpoint to regulatory and statutory bodies and other decision makers.
- To endeavour to secure adequate representation on the governing bodies of local public institutions.
- To enter into friendly co-operation with other organisations from the private, public and voluntary sectors which are concerned with the promotion of the Pontardawe area.
- To offer the opportunity to share views on local issues and to lobby elected members if necessary.
- To provide a forum for quick and effective communication between members.
- To arrange speakers on topical business related issues.
- To encourage members to provide a high standard of service.
