In brief, the aims and objects of the Pontardawe Chamber shall be:-

To act on behalf of its members at a collective and at an individual level.
To represent the business and commercial viewpoint to regulatory and statutory bodies and other decision makers.
To endeavour to secure adequate representation on the governing bodies of local public institutions.
To enter into friendly co-operation with other organisations from the private, public and voluntary sectors which are concerned with the promotion of the Pontardawe area.
To offer the opportunity to share views on local issues and to lobby elected members if necessary.
To provide a forum for quick and effective communication between members.
To arrange speakers on topical business related issues.
To encourage members to provide a high standard of service.
